Little London Sights: Westminster Abbey

Today’s Little London Sight is definitely more like a mighty big one. Westminster Abbey. Up until last year, I had never been to see it before, and I was born here in the UK!

It was pretty much in the same spot as the golden postbox I spoke about a few days ago.

Simply by looking at it, you can see why it’s so awe inspiring. The intricate architecture and design of the building is amazing, the structure itself is over 1000 years old, and it’s probably most famous for being the place where royalty are either crowned or married here. With that in mind, there is loads of history to see with it.

I loved this photo with the phone box in the foreground too. Even though these phone boxes only sit in London now for tourists, it makes it that extra bit special.
